THE JACKSONVILLE BLUEPRINT · FIRST EDITION
About This Blueprint
The Jacksonville Blueprint is a governing philosophy rooted in one conviction: leadership is stewardship. Public office is not a prize to be won, but a trust to be held on behalf of the people.
These pages begin with first principles, define the character expected of a steward, and apply those standards to the responsibilities that shape daily life in Jacksonville. They are intended to guide policy, public communication, and the difficult choices that leadership requires.
This is a living document. Its purpose is not to promise everything. Its purpose is to establish the standard by which every promise, proposal, vote, and public dollar should be judged.
Prepared by Andrew McCann, candidate for Jacksonville City Council.
